Bianca, my cohost dives into more than your usual questions about breathwork and subconscious. Your Chef , Robeisy, and our Yogi, Sarah Huntington, answer questions on some real life experiences and must haves.
what’s one of your superpowers?
Bianca: My empathy and ability to hold space for others where they feel seen, safe and supported.
Chef RoRo: I needed help with this one so I asked my close friends and partner for input. It was flattering to hear I offer a safe place where it feels like time is still and I can make feel people comfortable to connect.
Lynn: Planning just about anything- projects, parties, dinners, retreats.
Sarah: Sensitivity. intuition. compassion.
what was an unusual or funny purchase you made in Covid?
Lynn: A hot tub which was pretty great and still in use!
Chef RoRo: A lot of investment and growth mindset books and I do mean A LOT of books.
Bianca: A few different face shields to wear on flights or out in public. One was quite dramatic!
Sarah: toilet paper- who knew we would have a toilet paper shortage… purchasing toilet paper felt like a whole new awareness… Blue light glasses because I was on my screen so much teaching from home.
what’s your favorite part of winter, specifically January?
Sarah: I love building bonfires in our back yard, cold plunging, the quiet and snuggling with a good book, the time to turn inward and reset.
Wintering by Katherine May really helped transform my winter practices
Bianca: Getting rugged up and going for crisp beach walks then coming home and sitting by the fireplace.
Lynn: Darkness allows me to quiet down, read more at night and enjoy family game nights with Jon and my daughters, Nora and Sloane. Card games are my love language.
Chef RoRo: Tons of warm drinks, soups and stews. Dressing comfortably and warm while running around with my boys.
what’s one Wellness/ food trend/ innovation you are watching closely?
Chef RoRo: peptides for healing and muscle growth
Sarah: Eating clean - no added sugars. The connection between well being and healing our nervous system and loving kindness meditation. The impact / connection of digestive health and mental health.
Bianca: Epigenetics & DNA testing and IFS - and so much more!
Lynn: I love IFS and hope to get certified soon.
describe your work/ personal style in 3 words

Chef RoRo: ambitious, intuitive, detail oriented
Sarah: curious, calm, eclectic

what’s your 2024 mantra/ wish? Where is your heart leading you for 2025
Sarah: 2024 - abundance, peace, contentment; 2025 - surrendering to what is while working toward what will be. making time to write and to be when life gets very chaotic. my heart is leading me toward finding more space for myself in the busy-ness of my days. to bring to the surface what truly makes me come alive: nature, art, writing, reading, moving my body, nourishing my spirit … trying to spend less time on the things (or cut out) that douse/ zap my energy (screen time, worrying, people pleasing, perfectionism)
Lynn: My mantra for 2024 is truly balance after finally calming myself down after two decades on wall street. My heart is saying 2025 is a big creative project/writing year.
Chef RoRo: I really wanted to slow everything down and be present especially with my family. Still trying to figure out what 2025 will look like but I know it will be great.
Bianca: My 2024 mantra is let go, listen and be guided. 2025 is growing my community - a circle of trust, love and unwavering support for one another so that we may all level up!
if you could had to host a high / low (cost) dinner what would be on the menu?
Chef RoRo:For low cost, I love a simple Tuscan braised chicken and buckwheat pasta dish I had in Italy that I have tried to duplicate. For high cost, I am a huge seafood lover! Crab and scallops are my favorite and I always keep it simple.
Lynn: I love simple tacos and guac with a spicy margarita. My high cost meal would be surf and turf with a focus on the lobster!
Bianca: I'm not the cook in our family but I can set a great table on any budget ;) But if I had a choice, I would ask for great quality proteins (organic, sustainable) with farm fresh produce.
Sarah: high cost - love a good grilled seafood dinner, chilled seafood platter, anything with fresh seafood overlooking the ocean; low cost - rice and grilled veggies
what is one high and one low (cost) wellness practice you consider must haves?
Bianca: High cost - functional health testing, trainer/fitness classes, some sort of therapist for inner work, acupuncture and body work. Low cost - meditation, being in nature, any type of movement, books, podcasts or even free resources on youtube such as eft tapping videos.
Lynn: Working with many practioners (Functional medicine Docs, fascia release, massage or acupuncture) and physicians to get my health and wellness as strong as possible is my biggest expense. My simplest form of health is self care I lead for myself (self reiki, yoga flows and meditations)
Sarah: High cost wellness practices (I don’t have many of these) but I would have to go with neuropathic and functional medicine. Low cost - meditation, being in nature, tree hugging, weighted blanket.
Chef RoRo: An imperative high cost wellness practice or practices (for me) would be a functional medicine practitioner AND a nice gym membership. I have found having an expensive gym membership will keep you accountable for showing up and will introduce you to a community of people with great values! Low cost or practically free would be spending time in nature! Sun light and grounding are life changing.
